The Friends of Fayette County Animal Control & Shelter's mission is to establish and operate an animal friendly shelter that involves promoting adoption of homeless animals in Fayette County, community awareness of adoptanle animals and responsible pet ownership.

Fayette County Animal Rescue is located on 5 beautiful acres in Rossville, TN. We have a small indoor facility that consists of 4 isolation rooms, 12 indoor/outdoor runs, a bathing area for the animals, a bathroom, washer/dryer and storage. The vast majority of our shelter is made up of large outdoor yards. The outdoor yards all contain a carport to provide shelter from the weather in addition to their dog houses.  Each yard also has a swimming pool in the summer, some have Kuranda beds for the dogs to lay on and all have metal benches for visitors who come to socialize the dogs.  All regular facility maintenance is handled by volunteers.
