The Board of Directors is composed of dedicated community and business leaders who bring a wide range of experience and insight to the Chamber. These individuals generously volunteer their time, skills, and expertise to help guide the Chamber’s mission and contribute to the overall growth and well-being of the Oakland community. Their leadership plays a vital role in shaping local initiatives, supporting businesses, and fostering a strong, connected town.
Dave Owens has proudly called Oakland home for the past 15 years and has been actively involved with the Oakland community for more than a decade. For the last 12 years, he has been a dedicated member of the Chamber, currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Dave is deeply committed to community service and public safety. He volunteers with Fayette County Emergency Management, where he also serves as a Certified Trainer for the Oakland/Fayette County Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT), helping equip residents with the skills and knowledge to respond in times of emergency.
In addition to his emergency management work, Dave volunteers with Oakland Parks and Recreation, supporting programs and initiatives that strengthen the quality of life for local families.
Above all, Dave is most proud of his role as "Gramps" to twin seven-year-olds and one four-year-old granddaughter. His dedication to Oakland reflects his desire to help build a strong, safe, and thriving community for the next generation.
Jimmy Jordan brings a wealth of experience from the insurance industry, having built a distinguished career with Farm Bureau since 2002. In 2009, he relocated to Oakland to continue growing with the company and quickly became involved in the local business community.
Shortly after moving to Oakland, Jimmy joined the Oakland TN Regional Chamber and served on the Board of Directors from 2013 to 2016. After a brief hiatus, he returned to the board in 2023 and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Prior to focusing on his insurance career, Jimmy served as a commissioned officer in the United States
National Guard, demonstrating his commitment to service both professionally and personally.
Jimmy and his family have been active members of Fayette Baptist Church since 2014. Deeply rooted in the Oakland community, Jimmy is passionate about serving the people of Fayette County and takes pride in helping his clients find insurance solutions that truly make a difference in their lives.
With 29 years of experience in the banking industry, she brings deep knowledge, stability, and a strong commitment to customer service to her role at The Bank of Fayette County in Oakland, where she has proudly worked for the past four years. She has been a resident of DeSoto County for 19 years and values the strong sense of community that comes with long-standing local connections.
She has been married to her husband, David, for 25 years and is the proud mother of one daughter, Hailey. Her greatest joy comes from being a grandmother to Carlye and Lucas, who keep life fun and full of love. At home, she and her family are kept busy by their three doodles
—Bentley, Bourbon, and Tweety -who add plenty of personality to everyday life.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, embracing community life, and balancing a successful career with the moments that matter most.
Barbara Canady has proudly called Fayette County home her entire life and has dedicated 40 years to the banking industry. She currently serves as Community Bank President of First Citizens National Bank,
Division of Park National Bank, in Oakland, where she has faithfully led and served for 22 years.
Barbara's passion for banking is rooted in her love for her customers, her co-workers, and the community she serves. She believes strong relationships are the foundation of both successful businesses and thriving communities.

Chamber, Barbara has served on the Board for many years, contributing her leadership, experience, and heart for Fayette County to help strengthen and grow the local business community.
Donnie Owen Jr. is a dedicated community leader and board member of the Oakland Regional Chamber. A Fayette County resident since 1998, Donnie has been operating local businesses since the age of 18, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to hard work and entrepreneurship.
He is the owner of Owen Automotive in Somerville, Tennessee, established in 2015, and Dappler Salon in Oakland, Tennessee, established in 2018.
Through his businesses and active chamber involvement, Donnie has contributed immensely to the richness and vitality of his community. He remains committed to supporting local growth, encouraging entrepreneurship, and ensuring the continued success of the Oakland and Fayette County communities.
Donnie is also a proud father, raising the next generation of local leaders and instilling in them the values of service, integrity, and community involvement.
Hollie Holland is a dedicated community leader and Fayette County resident of more than 45 years who proudly serves on the Oakland
Chamber and the board of directors for Fayette Cares. With over 20 years in banking, she most recently served as Branch Manager for Guaranty Bank.
Hollie has recently accepted a new position with BankTennessee in Collierville and is excited for the
opportunities ahead. She remains passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in her community.
Jamie Dawson is a respected community leader and longtime Fayette County resident who has proudly called the area home for more than 26 years. A graduate of Leadership Fayette Class of 2023, she is actively involved in advancing the community through service and leadership.
Jamie currently serves on several local boards and organizations, including the Oakland Chamber, the Carl Perkins Advisory Board, and the Fayette Academy Board of Trustees. Professionally, she is a Mortgage Loan Coordinator at Leaders Credit Union, bringing over a decade of banking andmortgage experience following a successful 14-year career in healthcare. She is also an honors graduate of the Barret Graduate School of Banking.
Helping individuals and families achieve
homeownership is one of Jamie's greatest passions. She is known for providing clear guidance throughout the mortgage process and ensuring clients feel supported every step of the way.
Outside of work and community service, Jamie enjoys traveling with her husband and two sons, supporting local initiatives, serving as an Ambassador for the American Heart Association, and cheering on the UT
Vols during football season.
Linda and her husband, Ken, have been married for 36 years and consider Oakland the perfect place to have raised their family. Together they have four children, three grandchildren, and two more on the way. Of all the titles she holds, "Nana" is by far her favorite.
Since moving to Oakland in 1997, Linda has been actively involved in the community. She previously served as President of the Oakland PTO and was elected to the Fayette County Board of Education, where she served for four years. Linda has also dedicated more than 20 years to teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School at Warren
Community Church.
Linda currently serves on the boards of the Oakland
TN Regional Chamber and Hannah's Hope. She has enjoyed a 38-year career in banking, including the past nine years with Trustmark Bank. She values working for an employer who supports and encourages community involvement.
Oakland is truly Linda's chosen home, and she is passionate about helping Fayette County continue to grow and thrive.
Amber Beard Bean is a dedicated community leader who proudly serves on the Oakland Chamber Board and the Carl Perkins Center Board. She has been a Fayette County resident for over 40 years and remains actively involved in supporting local families and businesses throughout the area. With a strong passion for real estate and community growth, Amber serves clients through Groome & Co. Realtors, a locally owned and operated boutique real estate firm with locations in Arlington and Oakland. She has been a real estate agent for 18 years and is committed to delivering exceptional service while making a lasting, positive impact in the community she proudly calls home.
Ferrane is the owner of Twigs-N-Things Florist in Oakland, where she has proudly served the community since 2015. With a true servant's heart, she is passionate about bringing people together and supporting the growth of her local community.
Ferrane has served for two years on the Chamber Board and takes great pride in helping strengthen connections between residents and businesses. A champion for small businesses, she recently expanded Twigs-N-Things to include a marketplace designed to help other entrepreneurs get started and grow.
Guided by a strong faith and a deep belief in family and community, Ferrane continues to use her business as a way to uplift others and create opportunities for those around her.
Through her work, she continues to encourage connection, collaboration, and growth throughout the community she loves.
Jennifer Bradford has been a proud resident of Fayette County for 31 years and has worked at Ring Container Technologies for a total of 19 years throughout her career. She currently serves as a Systems Analyst in the IT department, where she focuses on supporting systems and technology initiatives. She loves working with people and collaborating across teams to find solutions and create positive outcomes.
As a newer member of the Oakland Chamber Board joining in the summer of 2025, Jennifer is honored to represent Ring and support the Chamber's mission of strengthening and promoting local businesses. She is passionate about making a positive impact in her community and is committed to supporting initiatives that help Oakland and the surrounding area continue to grow and thrive.
Kim is a proud 23-year resident of Fayette County and a dedicated member of the Oakland Chamber of Commerce who has built her career around serving the community she calls home.
With more than 20 years of experience in banking and mortgage services, Kim is a Mortgage Loan Officer at Cadence Bank, where she is passionate about helping individuals and families achieve homeownership. She also supports the community through her volunteer work with Fayette Cares and the Fayette County Carl Perkins Center, organizations that provide vital resources to children and families in need.
Kim attends Bellevue Baptist Church, where her faith continues to guide her commitment to serving others.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Travis. With their children now grown or attending college, Kim treasures this season of life and especially enjoys time with their rescue dog, Diesel.
Through her professional work and community involvement, Kim remains committed to making a positive impact in Fayette County.
Brandie Spicer is the owner of Howling Wolf Bookkeeping, bringing more than 40 years of bookkeeping experience to the clients she serves. She began learning the trade at just eight years old alongside her mother, an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for helping others stay organized and confident in their finances.
Brandie launched her business during the COVID pandemic, a season that also allowed her the opportunity to care for her mother before she passed in 2022. Her mother was able to see the business begin and was incredibly proud of the path Brandie was creating.
Brandie and her husband, Donnie, will celebrate 22 years of marriage this April. They have three children -Chelse Adams, Joseph, and Dakota-and seven grandchildren: Bayleigh, Brody,
Liam, Camden, Audrey, Ava, and Asa.
A member of Warren Community Church, Brandie enjoys crochet and knitting, music, and drag racing, which is a favorite family pastime. She also has a background in music, having started her college career as a vocal performance major.
Hailey Moore is proud to serve as Oakland's Chamber Administrator. With over 10 years of experience in customer service, she is passionate about building relationships, creating positive experiences, and supporting the local business community.
In addition to her professional background, Hailey helps operate her family business, Moore Mobile Maintenance, serving the Memphis tristate area, and recently launched Moore Than Memories
Photography. Through these roles, she has gained firsthand insight into the needs and day-to-day realities of small business owners.
Hailey has been married for over eight years and is a proud mom of two. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and can often be found outdoors or at the ball fields.
Holly has proudly called the MidSouth home for over 23 years and made Oakland, Tennessee home in 2024.
She is the owner of Olivia Rae's Boutique, a small boutique located inside Twigs n Things Marketplace in Oakland, where she understands firsthand the heart, dedication, and resilience behind small businesses.
In April 2025, she stepped into the role of Community Relations Manager and quickly realized she had found her true calling. She thrives on building strong relationships, encouraging collaboration, and championing local businesses. Her passion for connection and supporting local growth drives her work as she creates opportunities that uplift and strengthen the community she proudly serves.
Holly has been happily married to her husband, Jeff, for 37 years. She is a proud mother of two and a joyful Mimi to three precious grandchildren who keep her heart full.
